Honey helps treat milia due to its antioxidant and humectant properties (retains moisture and avoids dryness). It also can be combined with other ingredients to make a facial scrub to exfoliate your skin and reduce milia.
Simply spread honey, preferably raw honey, on your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse it off. Do this daily until you see improvement.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
Milia is a common benign skin condition. It is not at all harmful to body. Treatment of choice is to get it removed by dermatologist as an OPD procedure.
Otherwise you can try Supatret cream or Retino A 0.1 % cream at night.
Hope this helps. Dr. Sudarshan
MD Dermatologist.

She can try a few home remedies like applying honey, she can add powdered sugar and few drops of lemon to it. Massage for 10-15 mins. Also, she can take steam for 15-20 minutes which will help opening the pores and then apply apple cider vinegar mixed with castor oil.
Its very important that she uses a sunscreen on a daily basis. The sunscreen has to be re-applied after every 3-4 hours and it has to be applied at least 15-20 mins before leaving home.
