Gallstones may form if bile contains too much cholesterol, too much bilirubin, or not enough bile salts. Researchers do not fully understand why these changes in bile occur. Gallstones also may form if the gallbladder does not empty completely or often enough.

There is no way to expel gall bladder stones (unlike case of kidney stones). So gall stones if they r not creating problem, let them be there. But do follow annual checkups. But if they r causing problem, its better to remove them.

Hello lybrate-user. Food may not have any effects.
But I suggest you don't go for operation if there is not acute emergency.
As it can be cured by homoeopathic treatment.
Removing gall bladder has lifetime problems. And even increase chances of cancer.
Better think twice.
You can consult me at Lybrate for homoeopathic treatment.

Hi, there are no dissolving medicines for gall stones no matter how long you take them. The treatment of choice for gallstones is surgery. Do not end up in complications because of other medicines.
