May be these marks are post acne or due to sun tanning. You can get chemical peeling done. Always use a sunscreen before sun exposure and cover your face with a cloth or hat.

There are many reasons why your skin would turn dark. Sun tan, overweight, pigmentation disorders like acanthosis or melasma, nutritional deficiency etc are some conditions.
