Bad breath can be due to various reasons. If you have bleeding gums or tartar accumulation on your teeth, a dental cleaning will help you overcome the problem. If you have any other issue like constipation or acidity or sinusitis etc, you need to get the root cause of the problem treated.
In the meanwhile you can use any over the counter mouthwash and maintain a good oral hygiene which will reduce the bad smell to some extent.

Hi. Little changes do occur in the mouth with age. No need to worry about that. Maintain proper oral hygiene. Rinse your mouth properly after eating anything. Brush twice daily especially at night time before going to bed. Visit a dentist every 6-12 months for a scaling/ Cleaning of your tooth.
Do not floss much. Gaps might have occurred due to gum recession. Do warm saline rinses this will make your gums strong and healthy.

It is advisable that you should brush your teeth atleast twice a day with an ultrasoft toothbrush easily availabe in market(colgate slim soft, colgate senitive).Beside toothbrush,a proper coordinated tootbrushing technique is also required(placing tootbrush at 45degree and moving in circular motion)
Flossing is also recommended to clean interdental areas.
