Upto a certain extent it’s ok. I don’t know what’s your eating schedule or what you eat before n after gym also how much time you do exercise n how many days a week. First of all you should change your eating habits like

For reduction of belly fat you need to do Intense Cardio for min 30 mins everyday.
It can be Treadmill at 8+ speed and Side jumps, burpees etc
Add to that 10-15 mins of different abs exercises.
Do this and you can reduce 2"-3" every month.
