Asked for female, 25 years old from Varanasi

My periods is on 25 jan. I get intimate on 29 jan. Within 72 hours I consumed unwanted 72 on february 1. But withdrawal bleeding does not happen yet. Is there any problem?

After taking the high hormonal emergency pill one gets withdrawal bleeding 5 to 10 days later, and then a new cycle starts.- new counting.
Presence of withdrawal bleeding means no pregnancy by sex prior to it.
If this does not happen as well as the period is missed then do a pregnancy test.

Usually, possibility of pregnancy is seldome in your case for want of ovulation period
but ejaculating sperm might cause pregnancy , hence, taking pills be safer to avoid pregnancy.

To find reason - meet gynecologist as it needs detailed medical history, check up and more reports.
Management- one needs to take modus for 5 days or more and then 3 to 8 days after stopping one gets withdrawal bleeding- if not then reports and other treatment.

My girlfriend and I have unprotected sex on 25/01/24 and took ipill on 26/01/24 and dnt have any side effect but on 30/01/24 at night around 11: 30 pm she start having bleeding which continue with heavy bleeding and start having nausea, vomiting, lower abdomen pain headache and back cramp and the bleeding last till 04/02/24 and even after the bleeding finished she still got nausea, vomiting, headache, lower abdomen pain and frequent urination which is similar to pregnancy symptoms till today which is 08/0/24 is this still the side effects of the ipill which causes hormone imbalance or she is pregnant, i'm very worry, and want to add that my girlfriend and I had unprotected sex on 24/12/23 which was her 14 days of cycle so she get pregnant and but she accidentally trip herself and cause abortion on 16/01/23 the pregnancy symptoms she was having during this time was the same which she have now.

Hello Dr. my gynae suggest to take meprate 10 mg for 3 days twice daily but rn I took 2nd last dose tomorrow morning will be the last dose I had no periods for two months but the day I took meprate I was already feeling low there was body ache and mood swings I feel like I am spotting but there is not even a drop of blood i’ve put a finger to check if there is blood even a towel there was something brown brown on towel but when I cleaned with white tissue nothing was there so I continued meprate if I am spotting is it safe to take meprate because I am not sure if I am spotting or not.

Hello dear doctors I am posting this for seeking opinion for my wife she is having the monthly menstrual as usual but with heavy clots of blood and while we tested the pregnancy and it's positive same time, we are confused how she could get pregnant as same time she is having her periods, and we had sexual intercourse before the day of her periods starts, so can be this possible due to our sexual intercourse to show her pregnancy test positive?
