No details of duration, complaints, reports and treatment taken. Blood report of t3. T4 and tsh is necessary. Sometimes more tests are required for other specific causes. Depending on cause and thyroid function you have to start hormonal replacement, regular periodic monitoring, fixing of daily dose. Probably to be taken for lifetime. You should be normal. Hence consult a physician or endocrinologist.
