If you want to eat oranges then no problem. It should be taken preferably in the day time and avoid eating in the night .Eating Orange is very healthy. It has vitamin C to fight common cold.

Do saline gargles and steam inhalation.
Take turmeric with hot milk.
Ginger, cloves,cinnamon, thyme (ajwain )make it into tea and have it.
Medicines you can take sinarest or cetrizine.

take tulasi, dried ginger powder and mulethi powders, 10 gms each. mix them and make a paste. Add this paste to 1 glass of water and boil it in a low wave untill it gets to half. Filter the contents in the cup and add 1/2 tsf of honey. Drink this freshly prepared liquid 2 to 3 times a day. Avoid dairy products, cold water in your diet. Continue the regime for a week. good luck

Simple cold and cough no but if with high temp yes they are. Check full blood count for your wbc and platelet count. Take Vit c 1000 mg daily, plenty of warm water and if can't sleep take one alaspan daily for few days. Also can take ginger lemon tea if you fancy.

The following are some of the natural remedies for cold and cough:
- Add a pinch of turmeric and 1/4 tsf of black pepper powder to hot milk and drink it twice a day.
- Mix 1 tsf of honey to 1 tsf of basil leaf juice; take it twice a day.

Take ginger, black pipper, tulsi some leaf of lemon grass, 1-2 bud of clove crush it and boil 2 cup of water reduce till 1 cup you may add little sugar take this tea 3-4 time in a day.
