Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It causes whiteheads, blackheads or pimples. These factors can trigger or aggravate acne: hormones, certain medications, diet, stress.
To prevent pimples, eat fresh fruits, green vegetables, drinking plenty of water should be an essential part of your routine and intake of oily fried foods, an excess of sugar-salt should be avoided.

Yes, you can use 1-2% salicylic acid containing facewash.
In case you experience dryness of skin due to these products, use a hydrating moisturiser multiple times throughout the day. If the dryness persists, consider stopping the salicylic acid facewash and use a gentle cleanser.

The cream you are using is basically a moisturiser with some mild depigmenting agents and antioxidants. But if you have stubborn pigmentation, you will need a more targeted therapy.
Also, different medication is required for acne scar management. Please also understand that acne scars may only improve suboptimally and you may need to continue treatment for 4-6 months to see visible improvement.
Please consult a dermatologist for personalised advice.
