Pep must be taken exactly as instructed and for 28 days. Do not skip a dose or fail to complete the full month as this makes it less likely to work. Do not double a dose if you miss one. If you do miss a dose and you remember in less than 24 hours, take the next one as soon as you remember.

I ate chaat by ordering it online. In that I ordered raj kachori. As it is delivered they bought it in a plastic box. The top portion of the box had green chutney and curd. The kachori was in the below portion of the box. I am worried because when I was eating I saw that the bottom of the kachori was reddish and wet on the inside part. So I lifted the kachori but outside is not wet. And as it was delivered the chutneys were given separately. So I am worried what if it was blood that was seen reddish at the bottom? Or is it tamarind chutney? I am not sure. Because as much as I have seen, they put tamarind chutney or other chutneys on top of other ingredients and not at the lowermost surface puri. So I am worried because the whole bottom only on the inside of the puri was reddish. If it was blood from hiv or hep, then can it cause that? I ate that chaat and also I have small mouth sores and also there was little bit blood coming from my gums when brushing. And I also had stomach ulcer little bit a week ago. So can it cause hiv or hep? I am really worried. Because the reddish fluid was there so much. I saw it only after eating most of it. Please reply soon. I am really worried.

As per cdc guidelines ,hiv doesn't transmit via food, water,and saliva in usual cases.
Very rare cases may occur in direct contact with blood of infected person with wound in oral mucosa.
Regarding your concern, I think you shouldn't be worried.
You have negligible chance of infection, if any possibility whatsoever.

28 male I had sex with commercial sex worker with condom. I continued sex for half minute after ejaculation. I am fearful about hiv. I did hiv 1 and 2 antibodies rapid lab test at 36 th day and it came negative. I consulted hiv specialist and did hiv 1 dna pcr provera on 41st day and result is not detected (negative ). Bit I am having sore throat (granular pharyngitis). Do I need further tests for hiv? Am I hiv negative?

I had protected sex with commercial sex worker but unsure whether condom broke or not. I did antibody test at 36 day and it came negative for hiv 1 and 2. On 42nd day I did hiv_1 dna pcr provera and it is not detected (came negative). Yet I am having swollen lymph nodes and sore throat for 3 to 4 weeks. Do need further hiv tests?

You have some risk for hiv but a lot for other stds. What tests you are doing is not protocol. Can hiv virus survive in normal saline used in cleaning instruments during surgery? And can hiv pass through cuts that are not bleeding but causes the individual pain?

Hiv virus can survive normal saline.
Though hiv virus rarely survive outside body.
It survive in body fluids.
For cleaning instruments in surgery we use alcohol or formalin. So very low risk of transmission via surgery.
Hiv don't transmit via minor abrasion on skin.

Hello sir. Both the combination are effective, except that tenofavir alafinamide salt has purportedly more more bone and renal safety profiles. However you are strongly advised not to self medicate please and consult a doctor of your choice to get proper guidance. Thanks.

Hello, can we get any std or hiv just by stimulating each other with hands? No sex or no saliva involved, we just pleasured each other sexually with hands. Also I don't have any open wounds or cuts in my hand. This was on 17th june and on 20th june I had a sore throat. No fever, no rashes, no joint pain, no muscle pain, no fatigue, no diarrhea, no infection on my genital. Just a mild sore throat but it's still there for 5 days. Difficulty talking, talking loudly creates cough. Can it be just a simple cold? Note :- I have over thinking issues also and I worry a lot! clinically proven to have anxiety and ocd. I don't know if i'm actually over thinking! please provide me with your valuable information.

The only possible risk would be if body fluids from a person with hiv touch the mucous membranes or damaged tissue of someone without hiv.

Antigen/antibody test done with blood from a finger stick can usually detect hiv 18 to 90 days after exposure. An antigen/antibody lab test using blood from a vein can usually detect hiv 18 to 45 days after exposure. A nucleic acid test (nat) can usually detect hiv 10 to 33 days after exposure.
