Asked for female, 26 years old from Kozhikode

Hi, I have taken zitotec 200 mg tab vaginally under medical observation and I am about 8 weeks, doctor told I should go with dilation and curettage procedure by tomorrow as it is not gone fully, please let me know any alternative other than dnc procedure because I wanted to take only vaginal pills.

If the maximum dosage of tablets dint work up to remove the products of conception, dilation and curettage is highly recommended as it cause infection which is life threatening and problems for your future pregnancy as well.

I undergo d & c. After 14 days I started bleeding, so started taking primolut-n once daily. After 18 days while taking medicine I was spotting again, so took 2 tablets per day upto 23 day. (had intercourse on 14 day but he did not come in me but precum). After 2 days of stopping the medication I had 2 days of spotting dark brown in colour. Now its been around 10 days and no periods yet. I checked for pregnancy 4 days ago, it was negative. What might be the reason? I have increase in my weight since I started taking primolut. I am taking methylfolate around 950 mcg per day. I was taking medicines of flu, cough in last month and was also taking medicine for an injury on hand. What could be wrong with me? I am also having bad throat and flu right now. Please help.

Hi. I think your periods mostly will come within as week. If you want be certain just do a scan to know endometrial thickness.

Hello, you didn't tell the reason for d&c as it is involved with hormonal imbalance you could expect some erratic changes like more bleeding, clots pain also the next few monthly cycles.

I just had a d&c last night. Bleeding has stopped just spotting lightly. The doctor gave me 1 tablet of misoprostol 200 mg 3 times a day (for 5 days) to be taken with water along with some other medicines. Will it cause more bleeding? Why is it prescribed? Kindly help me. I am so worried.

Hi Sir, My brother met with an accident in 2014. But till now he was unable to move his hand and use his leg due to injure in spine. We met with doctors go for consultation with doctors in neurology but they were unable to detect the illness. Said that nothing is wrong. But it's been like 4 and half years gone. But it's not still cure and he can't use his hand normally. And his left leg is still weak. Can't walk fast. Is there a possibility for him to be cure completely. Please help.

You can refer a near by physiotherapist. If the spine is injured the nerve which is coming through it can cause damage to the limbs supplying it. It may cause the weakness of the muscles of the hand and legs. It has to be strengthened to gain the normal movements.
