considering your age I would advice to keep chacking your blood pressure.
Any signs of high blood pressure like headache from the nape of the neck, dizziness, dimmed vision shall need an immediate intervention. Hi, high blood pressure is a chronic disease and keeping it under control is very important. Before stopping any medication it's abrupt to stop jus like that. First his blood pressure levels has to be constant and within normal range over a period of atleast 3 - 6 months for considering dose reduction or stoppage of medication.
