I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
A positive hbsag test result means that you are infected and can spread the hepatitis b virus to others through your blood. Anti-hbs or hbsab (hepatitis b surface antibody) - a "positive" or "reactive" anti-hbs (or hbsab) test result indicates that a person is protected against the hepatitis b virus.

Most people who are vaccinated with hepatitis b vaccine are immune for life. Hepatitis b vaccine is usually given as 2, 3, or 4 shots. Infants should get their first dose of hepatitis b vaccine at birth and will usually complete the series at 6–18 months of age.

A child can get hbv through contact with the blood or body fluids of a person who has the virus. Exposure can occur from: a mother with hbv at the time of birth. It does not appear that hbv is passed to the fetus while still in the mother's womb.

Most people transition into the inactive hepatitis b phase, which is characterized by undetectable or low viral loads (less than 2,000 iu/ml) and improvement in liver inflammation and fibrosis. Adults in this phase will also typically have normal alt levels and minimal inflammation.

Any value between 1 and 5 s/c is indeterminate and should be repeated. For hepatitis b surface antibody (anti-hbs), a level less than 5 miu is considered negative, while a level more than 12 miu is considered protective. Any value between 5 and 12 miu is indeterminate and should be repeated.

Newer, so-called combination or fourth generation tests and other lab-based tests are close to 100% accurate. Rapid or at-home tests are right around 99% of the time if you've been infected for a while. But if you were recently exposed, they may not be as trustworthy.
