Hii Lybrate user when was the endoscopy done.
What was the report like apart from gastric erosions? When were you detected as h pylori infected. Did you complete full course of antibiotics, were you retested for documentation of h pylori eradication. These questions needs to be answered for proper evaluation and advice. You can take chapati while being on esofag d. There is no need to avoid potato or peanut if you are not allergic to them.

H.pylori is an established entity for stomach cancer. But no need to worry. All people with h.pylori infection donot get cancer. As in your case since you have got a mucosal polyp, have they sent it for biopsy? The mucosal polyp can be due to prolonged use of pantoprazole or omeprazole. I suggest you to start a quadrple therapy for h.pylori as you have failed to complete initial three drug regimen. Hope this helps. In case of doubts feel free to contact.

Ineffective esophageal motility is not at all life threatening or dangerous. It is much common than generally perceived. Some life style modifications and medications will do good.

The test you are asking is antibody test. Its actually helpful in telling if you have had h.pylori but. To see current infective state you can get a urea breath test, endoscopy and biopsy for h.pylori, or stool antigen test.

It can be due to drug reaction by antibiotics used for helicobacter pylori so it's better to hold on ,consult dermatologist and reconsult gastroenterologist for alternative drugs for h pylori.
