That't not the case. During periods your metabolic rate will be rate which might may not make you realize the pain as if the body has good basal metabolic rate you will have good tolerance of pain that may not happen during your off period time. That time your bmr will be less you will definitely feel more heel pain. However for heel pan keep ice pack in the painful area and also you can dip your foot in the bowl of hot water (bearable heat) which will help you to come out of heel pain.

Heel bone spur is a form of calcium deposit that causes a bony protrusion under the heel bone. An X-ray can reveal up to a half inch elongation under the hill. Without an image report, this condition is commonly known as heel spur syndrome. Heel spurs are mostly painless but reports of pain is not uncommon. They are often related to plantar fasciitis. The latter is an inflammation of the connective tissue that stretches through the foot bottom connecting the heel bone and the football.

It can be a bad sprain. Rest prevents further injury and avoids stress on already inflamed tissue.
Put the ankle joint at rest by wearing a brace or splint.
Ice is probably the best treatment.
Ice will counteract the increased blood flow to the injured area.
It will reduce the swelling, redness, and warmth.
Applied soon after the injury, ice will prevent much of the inflammation from happening.
Compression can help keep down swelling. Compression wraps, such as ace bandag...more
