Hi,
Mitral valve prolapse is a congenital disorder having myxomatous degeneration of mitral valve.
It does not progress & you can play safely. But don't over exert yourself which will increase the heart rate & thus the valve regurgitation & thereafter the symptoms may develop.
So to summarize, you can play whatever you like.

Pain in chest does not always come from heart. There may be other reasons associated like muscle strains, gastritis, etc. For which the first point of contact for you is a general Physician. Dear Lybrateuser, - LVH is due to thickening of the heart wall muscle, the most common cause is due to hypertension
- he should take precautions, do regular exercise like walking, jogging, yoga to keep fit
- keep salt intake low - take medicines regularly & do follow ups as advised by your doctor.
