It could be peripheral neuropathy which is common in Diabetes.
Also heart issue could be there. Make sure you do ECG and 2d echo to check if your heart function is normal.

Burning may be due to acute gastric problem also...soo u can take antacids and then see what changes u get.take food in every 4-5 hrs intervals..don't let ur stomach be empty fr long.
