However bad this may sound but a 45% ef is bad as it means your heart is failing. But what's the cause? Is it because some blockage is there in the artery or is it because your heart muscle has some issue and it's not contracting effectively to pump or some other less common one? thanks for contacting with your health query, and after reviewing the same, i'm of the following opinion:
1. High blood pressure and heart valve stenosis are the common cause of cardiac hypertrophy so make sure your blood pressure remains within desired value and regular follow up and supervision with cardiologist is necessary. Ps. Since nicotine smoking is one provoking/aggravating factor for lvh thus you have to completely give up on the addiction. [if present]
