I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you the most common causes are: age, noise exposure, heredity (genes) and medication, which all mostly lead to a sensorineural hearing loss. You can also have a bilateral hearing loss if both of your ears' ability to conduct sound into the inner ear are blocked or reduced

Some are treated with different types of implants and surgery may cure some types of conductive hearing loss. A sensorineural hearing loss is normally treated with hearing aids.
