Hello, after audiometry test the audiologist will either mark or show pictures of ear to compare your hearing status, and tell you which part of your ear is affected. Nxt part is about your hearing aid, get your audiometry test again and adjust your aid accordingly, if the problem is not resolved then it is either your sensorineural loss or the aid is not suitable for your loss.

If you are suffering from sensorineural loss, there is no medicine and surgery except hearing aid, if aid is not providing sufficient speech understanding, either your ear is more affected, or your machine is not properly suitable for your loss. So get your audiometry test once again set your aid accordingly.

If you do not have any discharging ear and going by the suggestion of the other ent surgeon you must be having what we call as otosclerosis. You have two options. One is hearing aid and the other one is stepedotomy surgery.
You may contact me for either of these.

Perforated eardrum is a hole or tear in the eardrum. It is not usually painful but can be uncomfortable. A perforated eardrum usually heals within a few weeks or months provided the ear is kept dry and there's no infection.

Madam,
it might be because of a severe ear infection, the pain in the ear radiates to the jaw and mouth and also if the pain and infection is severe there might be swelling of lymph nodes also. So it should be properly evaluated. To exclude other causes. You might be needing anti inflammatory medicines and basic antibiotics, for which you can take a consult. As a home remedy you can take warm compresses on the affected side.

Aging, genetics and noise exposure all play a role
having sensorineural hearing loss means there is damage either to the tiny hair cells in your inner ear (known as stereocilia), or to the nerve pathways that lead from your inner ear to the brain. It normally affects both ears.

Its better to change your headphones if that's the cause. Ears have soft cartilage so pressure on ears for long periods cause ear pain. You can make that pain releive by doing some home remedies like cold compression and heat compression but they are only temporary relief.

It is possible that the rain water might have caused an ear infection or an injury to the ear canal. You should consult an ent (ear, nose and throat) specialist who can examine your ear and determine the exact cause of the pain and irritation.
In the meantime, you can try these home remedies:
1. Warm compress: place a warm compress on the affected ear for 10-15 minutes to relieve pain.
2. Olive oil: warm some olive oil and put a few drops in your ear to soften any wax buildup that ma...more
