Hi. Our body has unique mechanism of homeostasis. We feel thirsty when body needs water. We feel hungry when body needs food. Also once the need of food or water is fulfilled we feel satiety. So go with internal instinct. And don't worry about what much amount of water you drinks. Nature takes motherly care to keep ourself healthy.

First of all its not a natural food or a replacement for food. So the question of good for health does not arise. It's a personal choice that people make. Alcohol in any form acts as a stimulant and so can be addictive. So beware of its bad effects - it can damage the liver and the whole of blood vessels in the long run. So moderation is the only way if you can't avoid it. Also check your liver profile (blood test) and do sonography of the abdomen to see the status of liver. Maintain good health...more

Hi lybrate-user yes you can take banana but to gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours.
