Hi.
Homoeopathic medicines are used effectively in the treatment of diabetes. Medicines increase functioning of the pancreas in efficient insulin production. medicines such as helonias, cephal, iodum, syzygium jambolanum, acid p ,insulin etc are used effectively in the treatment of all the stages of the diabetes. I advice you to take homoeopathic treatment along with allopathic medicine to control sugar levels. Once sugar levels are in control we will cut off allopathic medicines.

Mr Santosh, Thanks for the query.
The HbA1c% 6.2 % is in the pre-diabetes stage. Usually no treatment is advised in this state. However, if you are already on treatment for diabetes and have been able to achieve a good control showing 6.2 % HbA1c%, then it is quite good. Taking a tablet like Diabecon is not going to give any special benefit. But if you want to take the same then go ahead. Thanks.

Lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
HbA1c% 7, is quite good at your age. You can take one small banana if you feel like. However, eating more of that fruit is not advisable as it tends to increase blood glucose fairly fast. Thanks.

lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query.
Madam HbA1c% 7.4 is showing presence of diabetes. This needs specific antidiabetic treatment. That can not be suggested without knowing following details: Fasting, PP glucose levels, weight, height, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise, lipid profile, BP readings, plus urea and creatinine. So if you are keen in controlling blood glucose then come back with all the above details, then I will be able to guide. Preferably in a private conversation as ...more
