You are diabetic as per your hba1c report. You have not given you sugar level s at that time. Change in eating habits and exercises are responsible for your sugar control and are advised to all patients. Some patients respond very fast. Continue diet and exercise as being done but usually observed that after one year patients start requiring medicines for control in addition to diet and exercise treatment.

There is no age wise specific reference range for glucose. WHO protocols says fasting sugar levels below 110 are normal, between 110-125 - impaired glucose tolerance, and > 126 - diabetes.
Similarly for PP samples , < 140 is normal, 140-200 is impaired , > 200 is - diabetes .
These tests must be repeated at least once, PLUS you must also have some clinical symptoms of diabetes.
