A dental abscess, or tooth abscess, is a buildup of pus that forms inside the teeth or gums. If the plaque is not removed by regular and proper brushing and flossing, the bacteria may spread inside the soft tissue of the tooth or gums. This can eventually result in an abscess.
An examination may help us to understand the actual cause and right treatment can be applied accordingly.

gum boil might be due to infection in the root of the affected teeth. depending on the teeth you can go for extraction or for pulpectomy (to save teeth) to solve this problem. discuss with your doctor about this.
