Abnormal enlargement of the thyroid gland, located at the base of the neck, is known as goiter. Goiters usually do not cause pain, but if the size is too large it can cause coughing, breathing, and swallowing difficulty.

Please go for a medical check-up with your doctor and let the doctor examine it. Some tests may be advised to diagnose the problem. Kindly update all the findings so that further clarification can be easy to follow. You can also start homeopathy which is safe and effective. You can contact me with all the details for a private consultation.

Surgery, Radioactive iodine therapy and levothyroxin therapy are the options for treatment of multinodular goitre. If surgery is not acceped by patient other options are there specially if goitre is symptomatic.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
What do you mean by "complete diagnosis" Since she has goiter as mentioned, that itself is the diagnosis. To know whether surgery is needed there are some investigations to be done, like Ultra sonographhy of thyroid, hormone levels and if needed FNAC. That will give an exact idea of the situation. Thanks.

You have not mentioned thyroid profile report. If hypothyroid or hyperthyroid treat accordingly. If thyroid profile normal then wait for some time it will become normal as it has reduced by more than 50% in few months post delivery.
