Because if hypothyroidism is under good control then all the symptoms related to that condition are in control. From the details given it is clear that your tgl and vldl both are high. But lipids are quite fine. Usually now a days unless tgl go very high fibrates are hardly used. Since you have been prescribed the same along with rosuvastatin, please continue the same for a few months and check lipids after 6 months or so. You have only mentioned the tsh level, there is no info on t3 & t4. Thanks.
