Dear Jagannath, the current TSH value is below normal and you can reduce the dose to 100 ug once daily and recheck Free T4 and TSH after 3 months to see if the dose reduction normalizes TSH Regards Professor M S Seshadri

Can you let us know what the initial tsh was and if tpo antibodies were checked or not. If you have high levels (titres) of tpo antibodies you may have to continue thyroxine long-term

Hello, thanks for the query.
Hypothyroidism is treated with adequate dosage of levothyroxine. There are many brands of this drug like thyronorm, eltroxine and many more. Any one is fine. Thanks.

hello hypothyroidism is different than tonsilitis. in hypothyroidism - thyroid doesn't create and release enough thyroid hormone into your bloodstream

Yes you can. But you r overdoing gym. Do weight training every alternate day. On other days do cardio exercises. You need to take whey protein (by whatever name it comes. But it should contain 80% whey protein in it. E.g. For 30 gms it should have atleast 24 grams (80%) of protein.) use it only on the day you gym (within 10 mins of exercise). Dose is 30gms.

Hi, all supplements work only till you use them. Kindly add natural essential fat in your diet like- flaxseeds (alsi), sesame seeds (til), peanuts, almonds, walnuts, vegetable seeds (sunflower, pumkin) etc. All these sources are also rich in vitamine. Melted cow's ghee will also help.

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query.
Please let me know when was the condition (sub-clinical hypothyroidism) detected and what were the tsh and t4 levels then? Plus what are the current tsh & t4 levels? What is the dosage of levothyroxine being taken> without knowing specific details no advise can be given. As regards taking brahmi, that can be done. Thanks.
