HI
Glioblastoma tumor has bad prognosis. If tumor is operable, then go for surgery followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. If we do above treatment, overall survival is 2-3 yrs.
If we do not, then survival is 6 -12 months glioblastoma is very aggressive tumor, my opinion is not to go for ayurveda treatment. Do radiotherapy treatment.

Hello.
Grade 4 tumor. I believe that you are talking about glioblastoma.
Opinion on this will need proper histopath report of initial specimen. As well as fresh scan report to be seen.
I would like to know only brand is changed or active medication is also changed for him.

Dear sir, cancer may affect any and every organ of the body so it could be of many types depending on location. Histopathologically it depends on cell of origin And it could be of more than 200 types. Many cancers are very aggressive by behaviour like glioblastoma multiforme, a kind of brain tumour.

Hi lybrate-user
With the details you gave, most probably your uncle is having glioblastoma. After surgery, radiation should be given to the region of brain where tumour was located. This is the internationally recommended treatment. Alongwith radiation he should have an oral tablet of chemotherapy daily. Despite treatment the average survival observed in our hospital in such cases is around 20 months.
