Follow diabetes diet which simply means eating the healthiest foods in moderate amounts and sticking to regular mealtimes. A diabetes diet is a healthy-eating plan that's naturally rich in nutrients and low in fat and calories. Key elements are fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

Hi lybrate-user mam
don't worry about gestational diabetes, it is quite common. What kind of advice get from your gynaecologist. Do not take self medication. What is the your glucose level based on we can take both allopathy and siddha ayurvedha medication.
Or better allopathy medicine enough after delivery you can start only herbal medication. Kerala jamun juice helps for general debility only.

Do not worry lybrate-user. It's just anterior placenta. It's not mentioned as placenta previa or accreta etc. Since its a previous c section you might undergo a repeay c section for this baby after maturity. Do not worry the doctor will take care of you during surgery. From your side just keep your sugar levels under control and haemoglobin should be above 12.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
To diagnose Gestational diabetes following criteria are considered: Fasting >92 mg, on 75 g glucose 1 hour level should be >180 mg & 2 hour glucose > 153 mg. The level mentioned 133 mg is at what time after taking 75 g of glucose?
Plus the tablet mentioned is an ayurvedic preparation without any clinical studies. I would never give it in pregnancy. First of all whether she has GDM is itself a question mark. I hope you have followed all the details ...more
