sir give rest to your knee,
don't do exercises anything to that knee,
wear knee brace while doing activities,
avoid prolonged standing sitting and walking,
avoid floor sitting,
take protein diet in your menu,
don't put pressure on that area.

First of all, try to avoid sitting on hard surfaces for long periods of time - some women will even try sitting on an inflatable ring to avoid any direct pressure on the end of the tail bone. Degree of effect decides the approach. Sandhivat is generally osteoarthritis but there may be amvat effected joints too. Still, vatrakta, though clearly defined, may also effect other joints too. I suggest you to take ashwagandhaleham (nagarjuna), if you are non vegetarian. Its best to provide protein with no side effects, since its an Ayurveda formulation.
