Sweating heavily or working in a warm, humid environment can increase your risk of a fungal infection. Fungi need a warm and moist environment to grow. Walking barefoot in damp places, such as gyms, locker rooms, and showers, can also increase your risk. These public places are often rich in fungal spores.
Kindly consult online.

Tinea nigra is a very rare fungal infection. It causes brown or black patches to develop on the soles of the feet, the palms of the hand, or, on rare occasions, the torso. A type of yeast called hortaea werneckii causes most tinea nigra infections.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
