Dear Lybrate user. Phimosis is a congenital narrowing of the opening of the foreskin so that it cannot be retracted. Phimosis is a very common problem. Make a habit of massaging you inner side of foreskin with castor oil daily. It has dual benefits, firstly due to its viscosity it provides a smooth lubrication thus reduce pain, secondly castor oil has a property to subside edema if used topically (if foreskin is paining due to edema of the tip of penis).
