See almost all medicines has its own side effects. And you can't take anti allergy medications continuously for more than a year hence better to stop it. You can use it for longer period with a gap if not using medicines for a short period.

What are other symptoms that you r suffering from. Like cold cough or sneezing. Do this 1. Do saline gargles daily. 2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also. 3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of ac. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, when there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected. 4. Drink hot liquids --hot liquids relieve nasal congestion, prevent dehydration, and soothe the uncomfortably inflamed membranes that line your nose and throat. 5. Sleep with an extra pillow under your head-- elevating your head will help relieve congested nasal passages. If the angle is too awkward, try placing the pillows between the mattress and the box springs to create a more gradual slope. 6. Treat that stuffy nose with warm salt water-- salt-water rinsing helps break nasal congestion, while also removing virus particles and bacteria from your nose. 7. Blow your nose often (and the right way)-- it's important to blow your nose regularly when you have a cold rather than sniffling mucus back into your head. But when you blow hard, pressure can carry germ-carrying phlegm back into your ear passages, causing earache. The best way to blow your nose: press a finger over one nostril while you blow gently to clear the other. Homeopathic treatment has very encouraging results and gives relief in long term please ask for consultation with detailed information so that I can help you better.

Hello Lybrate-User, It should be taken only as per the prescription. Taking more won't help much. My suggestion is to take proper homoeopathic treatment. You can consult me at Lybrate.

Hi, I am a 25 year old adult living in mumbai. My question is to an ent specialist. I am facing this issue for quite some time now. What generally happens is, when I get up in the morning, my nose becomes all watery and I keep on removing water from my nose. I keep on sneezing, keep on clearing my nostrils. This happens for the full day. My eyes also become watery and water starts flowing from the eyes. It is that bad that I can't even sit for 2 minutes with my handkerchief. What I have noticed is this remains for a day and the next day when I get up, the watery nose is no longer there. I need to understand the cause of the same and what is the remedy. If required, I am ready to have a video call or visit your clinic but I need to get the same sorted asap. Hoping for a prompt and helpful response.

Dear Lybrate-User, You want to cause of your running nose, watery discharge from eyes & sneezing it is due to allergic condition, an ent specialist may diagnose allergic rhinitis. Generally an ent specialist will prescribe you antihistamine & you have to take regularly and after some days you can not stay without antihistamine. But you can cure it permanently with the help of homeopathic treatment. But remember homeopathic treatment means one / single medicine (simillimum) for your complete suffering. For that we have to take a complete case history, and we have to find out one / single homeopathic medicine that can restore your complete health. And you will get cure from running nose, discharge from eyes and sneezing. You can find out a good homeopath in your local, if you will not get any suitable homeopath in your local, you may book for online video treatment from my Lybrate profile.

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. Blood glucose level of 250 - 300 mg / 100 ml is too high. It signifies totally uncontrolled diabetes. This not good at all, as persistent hyperglycemia damages microvasculature (vessels supplying retina, kidneys, penile muscles and nerves) plus macrovasulature supplying heart and lower limbs. This can lead to conditions like retinopathy, affecting the vision, kidny function deterioration, neuropathy, loss of sensation, damage to lower limgbs, and heart related issues. As regards use of allegra, if needed that needs to be continued as long as required. Thanks.
