. You may need cleaning along with desensitizing procedures and / or artificial enamel filling and / or root canal treatment. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. yes it is called secondary caries, once you feel pain on that particular tooth,you may need to go for root canal .because once you get pain means it reaches root and even after pain subside on antibiotic it have a chances to get pain again in future. it is advisable for root canal

Composite has advantage over gic of being strong, more esthetic material. For mixed dentition choice between gic or composite based on many factors. Usually gic do well. For adults the choice of material is composite in most of the cases.

Laminates will provide superior esthetic results with minimal tooth preparation.
