For fibrocystic breast how many days medicine should be used, do it cause any trouble? Which medicine is more effective code soft epo r primosa. R any other medicine I should use? Do it leads to cancer? I'm getting white colour discharge my breast. I'm using now code soft epo capsules twice a day. From one-month onwards I'm using this? Still how many days needed cyst was not decrease in size. Some times my breast size is increasing. Becoming heavy, sometimes a little bit burning sensation. After completion of period also sometimes it is giving discomfort lumpy. I have gone ultrasound. Two times, prolactin test, tcs also. Tcs is normal, prolactin is a little bit means slightly high. But Dr, said no need to worry. But this fibrocysticbreast disease irritating (giving discomfort) I have a worry about cancer.

fibroadenoma is physiological response of breasts to female hormone. It often disappears after pregnancy. So relax
they are not precursor to breast cancer. So donot panic un necessarily. A lot of people get operated under this misconception. With no benefit. Treatment with medicines are enough to resolve them. They donot interfere with pregnancy nor do they harm yur future baby.

If you have felt a nodule in the breast, it is better to show it to a Breast Surgeons a Surgical oncologist. They would take a detailed history and examine you and if need be, ask for an ultrasound examination. Fibrocystic changes are very common and are common cause of breast pain especially cyclical.
Some times some of the cysts may enlarge causing a lot of pain, which need to be aspirated. Also they need to rule out other causes of pain like ill fitting bra, trauma, abscess amongst a few....more

Fibrocystic changes are very common and are common cause of breast pain especially cyclical.
It is known to sometimes regress spontaneously after pregnancy and breast feeding. It is a good thing if you can't feel any lump now.

Hi lybrate-user! fibrocystic disease is not related to breast cancer. Don't get worried. Meet a breast doctor they will guide you how to get treated for the same. Meanwhile follow healthy diet pattern and do 30 min of physical activity. Include eggs and fish in your diet including egg yolk. Get well soon.
