Hi, We are trying for pregnancy. During the fertile period I have been having sex every alternative day ,but missed it for consecutive two days .that's her cycle started on 10th of this month ,and we have been having sex starting from 17th every alternative day .and we had sex last time on 23rd and missed it for two consecutive days 24th and 25th. So does it mean we missed the pregnancy chance this time and can't expect to be pregnant her next period may start from 10th of next month. Please advise.

Please go in for follicular study where you are sure of the day of intercourse. Or atleast ovulation strip to be used to be sure of ovulation

Sperm can live up to 3 to 5 days in a womans reproductive tract, so it is possible to become pregnant if unprotected sex occurs 5 days before ovulation. The life span of the typical egg is relatively short, only around 24 hours.

Those who have regular 28 days cycle get ovulation around 14th day counting from first day of cycle (bleeding) means sexual intercourse around 11 to 16th day helps for pregnancy. Those who get cycles differently calculations have to be made differently as ovulation occurs 14 days prior to next period.

Jinka periods regular 28 din pe aata hai unko pregnancy rahne ka chances jyada hota hai jab intercourse 11 se 16 din ke aas paas hota hai. Counting period ke pahle din se hota hai. Agar periods alag hai to alagse counting karna padta hai kyonki ovulation agle aanevale period se 14 din pahle hota hai.

Hello . You're most fertile at the time of ovulation , which usually occurs 12 to 14 days before your next period starts. This is the time of the month when you're most likely to get pregnant. It's unlikely that you'll get pregnant just after your period, although it can happen.
