If the patient is confident they can definitely walk. However for safer reasons it is better to keep a tripod or tetra pod stick (stick with 3 legs or stick with four legs) and if you do some strengthening exercises you will recover faster.

You have to be careful about progress of plaque, it should not increase. Reduce bad fats, keep good lipids on higher side, get total lipid profile done, if cholesterol is high, try to bring it down through diet and exercise. Do send the reports here on the forum.
