It is though advisable to wait for 1-2 hours after taking the tablet before feeding your child. Also, don't just stop the medication on your own. Dosage of steriod is always tapered (as your doctor will advise you) and then stopped.

Flashes and floaters can be a normal thing also, but one should get the retina thoroughly checked first after any kind of injury to the eye.
