Hello, swelling of face is multifactorial. One factor could be some dental issue so if there is any cavity than visit a dentist and get a x-ray done to see the depth of cavity and get necessary treatment done. Usually deep dental cavities cause swelling and pain on the same side.

The swelling could be side effect of the steroids you are taking. Discuss with your rheumatologist about this because its tge main drug to treat sle. Tgere are alternatives.
