Hey there, it can be due to multiple reasons. One reason is that you just noticed it and it had been like this always. Second could be after tooth extraction or any injury in head and neck region. Third is nerve related issue.

For some people it is natural that they do not have a symmetrical (although very rare) and it may be due to the muscles of the face.
If it is a new development, i.e. Used to have smile line on both sides previously, I would suggest that you get a check up done with a general physician to check for your blood pressure and nervous system assessment.

Facial hair is a sign of hormonal imbalance and very common with PCOD.
Until you cure the undelying condition there is no use of hair removal and it will come back.
