What is a Stye?
A stye or sty (hordeolum) is a red bump, sort of like a pimple, that forms on the outside edge of the eyelid. Your eyelids have lots of tiny oil glands, especially around the eyelashes. Dead skin, dirt, or oil buildup can clog or block these small holes. When a gland is blocked, bacteria can grow inside and cause a stye to develop.

Hi lybrate-user,
these lumps that you are describing can be due to a condition called chalazion, or it could be a healed stye, or even a cyst. Correct diagnosis without examination should be avoided. Normally they disappear with time, but if they don't and if they are multiple, like in your case, you should see an ophthalmologist and get it checked. Its management is quite simple and you can get rid of them in no time.
