I have red eyes over 4 days. I am not able to travel in bus, because it would cause swelling of my eyelids and itching in my eyes. What should I do?

wear protective glasses while you r travelling to avoid dust and dirt entering the eyes..
allergy can be controlled easily using eye drops. But there are many eye drops and specific eye drops can only be prescribed after seeing the eye clinically as treatment depends on severity. also dip a handkerchief in little cold water and keep over closed eyes.. you will feel better

I have been getting pink bumpy and itchy rashes on my skin (legs, arms, face etc). I have consulted 3 doctors but I still have the problem. Bumps comes all of a sudden and vanishes after some time. I find my eyelids swollen one or the other day when I wake up. Eyelids swell after I go for threading too. Rashes are being noticed around the waistline if I wear a belt. One of the doctor told that it is food allergy and the other told it is due to water or climate change. I am facing this problem from 3 months. I am really worried. Please help me on this.

U have developed contact dermatitis .u vil need to take treatment for it.apply aqua soft cream twice daily over it for two weeks.do not massage it in.avoid cosmetics and face wash for the face.U definitely are allergic.allergy is not a one time affair,it's a lifelong affair.u vil need medications regularly.this is because ur body doesn't have the ability to counter a reaction on its own but medicines help normalise this level.so keep at it and don't give up on ur medicines.

My friend is having a problem with her eye. During exams or while using laptops for a long time a swelling similar to a pimple appears on the eyelid and it gradually becomes big. She went to some doctors and had some ointment and antibiotics. But still she is not fully cured. Sometime mucus formation is also there inside.

Hello this looks like chalazion
this is due to inflammation of tarsal gland present in lid
treatment includes
1. Warm compresses
2. Lid massage from up to down with index finger
3. Apply polydex ointment locally over lid margins
4. Most important maintain lid hygiene.

Get a routine urine examination and a cbc along with an absolute eosinophil count and renal function tests

Can I use punarnava herb in a tea? Triphala eye drops are mainly to soothe the eye.
You have pseudoexfoliation glaucoma and using latanoprost.
It's better that you keep a gap of atleast 20-30 mins between these two drops if there is an overlap because triphala eye drops can reduce the efficiency of latanoprost in reducing your eye pressure.

I was suffering from chicken pox and there was some problem in eyes. Dr. diagnosed it as uveitis and recommended me some drops like homide (for 6 days only), gatiquin p and softdrops. And I am using these drops since 10 days and still using for next 2 weeks and eyes are almost fine but I have far sight blurred vision still after 4 days of stopping homide. Hi, I understand your concern. It must be a food allergy reaction. Please be careful next time you consume any sea food. Specially any shrimp variety. If you experience any similar reactions, please stop consuming it any further.
