Burning eyes can potentially be a sign of covid-19, but it's relatively uncommon. It's unlikely that burning eyes without flu-like symptoms is caused by covid-19. If you don't have a fever or other typical symptoms of covid-19, it's more likely that you're dealing with allergies or another eye issue.

Hello! I am 28 years old. Since a year and a half ago i’ve been having problems with my eyes: rapid fatigue (after 10-15 minutes) when using a computer or smartphone, redness of the eyes. Each time, more and more vessels expand and do not constrict to the previous normal state. I’ve been around almost all the major clinics in the city, doctors diagnosed me with dry eye syndrome first. But the treatment wasn’t effective (moisturizing drops, eyelid massage). Half a year ago another doctor diagnosed me the following diagnosis: macular degeneration, retinal angiospasm, neuroepithelial keratopathy. The new treatment only slightly and temporarily relieves the condition. (a course of retinalamine was prescribed in the right eye and courses of flucon drops (fluorometholone) every 2-3 months, as well as dexpanthenol and moisturizing drops). Now I still can't work properly. My right eye does’t see very well far away as before, especially at night. (i noticed that after several injections of retinalamine). Could you tell me please how these diseases are treated? Is it possible to prevent worsening of the vision and follow a normal lifestyle with such a diagnosis? (work using computer for up to 6-8 hours a day without severe discomfort and redness). Where is it possible to get treatment? Od virus = 0.9 sph -0.50 cyl +0.50 os virus = 1,0 sph -0.00 cyl +0.25.

I am from india but currently lives in japan. My father visited here 2 months back. But from last 7 days, he noticed below things 1. With both eyes open, if he sees straight more than 20-25 cm, he can see double vision/any object double horizontally. 2. With only one eye open at a time, there is no problem in vision. No double vision. 3. With both eyes open, if he sees the object with cross eyes then there is no problem for vision. However, he feels pain in the right eye. 4. He is also having small pain above the right-side eye. 5. His eyes looks slightly crossed from front. We had a web call with indian online service eye expert doctor and he suggested that the reason for this could be due to high sugar level which cause right 6th nerve palsy. He suggested to reduce sugar level and take "neurobion forte 30s" tablet which will improve double vision and cross appearance. I am very much tensed. I would appreciate more if you could please guide me with your valuable suggestions. Thank you.

in addition to rightly mentioned points by my fellow colleague, I would suggest
1. Along with urgent diabetologist opinion for glycemic control, I would advise for a neurologist opinion for right sided 6th nerve palsy to rule out any systemic neurological involvement 2. Patching one eye temporary to prevent double vision while walking 3. Strict diabetic control.

I have pain in my right eye since 4 years I have changed my spectacles many times as suggested by the ophthalmologist. And every time my lens power increases but since last few days my eye is being red all time and my vision is getting blurry. What could ne the reason and what should I do? Eyes are itching when I eat or drink sweet things like milk with sugar or coconut water. Even non sweet things like cold butter milk is causing this. Drinking milk with honey causes a lot less itching than with sugar.
