Redness of the eyes has multiple causes associated with it. To enumerate a few common causes:
(1) allergy of the eye. It is usually caused by improper eye hygiene. There is a tendency to rub the eyes with fingers, handkerchief, cloth, etc. This is not a good habit because it tends to transmit lots of virus, bacteria and dust into the eye. Pinkeye (also called conjunctivitis) is redness and swelling of the conjunctiva, the mucous membrane that lines the eyelid and eye surface. The lining of the eye is usually clear. If irritation or infection occurs, the lining becomes red and swollen.

Take johnsons buds dip it in slightly hot water and clean your eye lid margins with that looking into a mirror twice a day for computer use:
so take frequent breaks while you are working
every 20-25 mins take break to look away from screen
blink more frequently'
level of screen should be below the level of eyes
ac should not blow directly on your face. Also get your eyes checked for any spectacle power.

Hello lybrate-user. There is infection of your lids. Do hot fomentation and consult local ophthalmologist. Your doctor may prescribe you antibiotic (tablet and local ointment) and pain killer.

Instill 2 drops of Euphrasia 10% , in each eye, twice daily.
Use sun glasses when ever you step out in the sun.
