I am from india but currently lives in japan. My father visited here 2 months back. But from last 7 days, he noticed below things 1. With both eyes open, if he sees straight more than 20-25 cm, he can see double vision/any object double horizontally. 2. With only one eye open at a time, there is no problem in vision. No double vision. 3. With both eyes open, if he sees the object with cross eyes then there is no problem for vision. However, he feels pain in the right eye. 4. He is also having small pain above the right-side eye. 5. His eyes looks slightly crossed from front. We had a web call with indian online service eye expert doctor and he suggested that the reason for this could be due to high sugar level which cause right 6th nerve palsy. He suggested to reduce sugar level and take "neurobion forte 30s" tablet which will improve double vision and cross appearance. I am very much tensed. I would appreciate more if you could please guide me with your valuable suggestions. Thank you.

Hello sir
in addition to rightly mentioned points by my fellow colleague, I would suggest
1. Along with urgent diabetologist opinion for glycemic control, I would advise for a neurologist opinion for right sided 6th nerve palsy to rule out any systemic neurological involvement 2. Patching one eye temporary to prevent double vision while walking 3. Strict diabetic control.

Retinal holes and tears do not automatically cause severe vision problems; instead, the areas of the retina that have holes and tears will not function correctly. If the condition is not well managed or treated in due time, then significant vision loss or even blindness can occur.

Many conditions can cause pain behind your right eye. We recommend watching for symptoms of an increase in sinus pressure (or an infection), migraines, and optic neuritis. All of these issues can affect the areas around your eye if left untreated.

First of all it is important to know the cause of macular edema. You have not mentioned that in you query. Second important factor is type of macular edema and cause of its persistence. Only giving anti vegf injection does not cure macular edema. One needs to find out the cause behind it and that should be targeted. Also nepafenac is not needed after anti vegf injections. So it is okay that your doctor did not prescribe nepafenac after the injection. Also it would be helpful if you share the typ...more

No drug is proven to be successful in central serous retinopathy. It is most commonly an idiopathic disease or steroid induced condition. So trigger factor needs not be removed.

Having asymmetrical eyes is perfectly normal and rarely a cause for concern. Facial asymmetry is very common and having perfectly symmetrical facial features is not the norm. While it may be noticeable to you, uneven eyes are rarely noticeable to others.

In most cases, floaters settle down to the bottom of the eye, beneath the field of vision. The columbia university department of ophthalmology estimate that it can take up to 3 months for a person's first floater to completely detach.

If itchy, red, watery eyes accompany a swollen eyelid, the cause could be an eye allergy. Dust, pollen, and other common allergens can irritate the eyes, triggering an allergic reaction. Eye allergies are rarely dangerous, but they can be annoying.
