I will prefer stenting with Eswl for your size Kidney STONE in upper calyx.

Dear if size of stone is > 6-7 mm.. its better to go for ESWL. There are more chances of stucking of stone in ureter through medicine...so visit a good surgoen clinically.

For 10 mm stone you will need some intervention such as ESWL. SMALLER one may pass with medicine. Plenty of liquids, less salt diet, limited dairy products.

Since you have developed obstructive uropathy, it is advisable to go for surgery(PCNL/ESWL) for removal of stone. Consult urologst with USG KUB for advice and treatment
