Eswl as very limited indication these days as most of stones can be completely removed with endoscopic surgery. Recurrence rates and relapse rates are high with eswl treatment.

Eswl is generally not advised for stones less than 10 mm, it is usually cleared using home remedies and dietary lifestyle. Please drink plenty of water (approx. 3l per day) and eat citrus foods which contains vitamin-c, you can also purchase vit-c tablets or syrup from the medical store if needed.
Ayurvedic medicine like tablet cystone thrice a day for 1 month works very well in clearing the kidney stones.

Size of stones are notso big. It is managable with homeopathy only. You seems having tendency of recurring stones. I would suggest you to take berberis mother tincture (homeopathic) 10 drops in half cup water three times a day for 15 days
have plenty of water at a time whenever you drink
avoid vegiies having seeds
let me know status of your stones after 3 weeks
regards.

Hello dear Lybrate user,
Warm welcome to Lybrate.com
I have evaluated your query thoroughly.* Only 9.2 mm stone requires ESWL.* 5 mm stone does not require ESWL. Hope this clears your query. Wishing you fine recovery. Welcome for any further assistance. Regards take care.

If it is not broken with eswl then don't try any other method other than rirs. It is a surgical procedure which does not involve any incision or stitch.

Rirs is another option which does not involve any incision or stitch. Just meet a urologist who is good at RIRS.

You can try eswl but you might need 3-4 sitting for it. Stone clearance rate is also inferior with eswl.
