Most mouth ulcers don't require specific treatment. As they heal on their own. But if they r painful.
They could be due to side effects of medicines, viral infection, thrush, vit b12 deficiency. Avoid spicy and salty food.

Ulcers are usually due to vitamin deficiency or bad digestion. Other causes are stress, change in lifestyle, allergies to certain foods and medication, dry mouth, trauma from teeth, spicy n oilly foods. Start taking vitamin supplements. Apply local anaesthetic ointment like dologel. Avoid oilly spicy foods completely. Gargle with warm salt water 7-8 times a day.

There are multiple scenarios where a person can get recurrent mouth ulcers. Most common being trauma, vegan diet, stress and many more. So it's best that you see your dentist to figure out the cause and get the underlying problem treated. For symptomatic relief, apply dologel before brushing and eating. Good luck.

Dear lybrate user, avoid spicy and fried foods, drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated, avoid taking stress. Normally ulcers take 7-14 days to heal completely. Consult your dentist and get it checked as we cannot prescribe medicines without a clinical checkup.
