Experiencing random erections, also known as spontaneous or reflex erections, is a normal occurrence in males, especially during adolescence and young adulthood. These erections are typically unrelated to sexual arousal or stimulation and can happen without any particular reason.
Random erections are a natural part of male physiology and are often a result of the body's hormonal changes and blood flow patterns. They can occur during various times of the day, including morning (known as morni...more

Hello-
incidental weak erections are normal. Like professional athletes, sometimes you just have “an off day”. For some, a weak erection is an occasional problem; for others, a chronic issue. Weak erections are not random; they are due to one of four reasons: because of penile injury that inhibits blood flow; because of insufficient blood flow to the penile sponge-like tissues; because penile tissues cannot maintain blood; or because blood flow exits out of the veins unexpectedly. The cause ...more

Hello-
trauma to the spinal cord isn't the only accident-related injury that negatively impacts sexual health. Medication, mental health and changes to hormone levels due to a traumatic brain injury can also cause erectile dysfunction.

I noticed this problem this week but honestly it may have been happening for a month now. I am am 18 year old very active and fit guy, I eat mostly healthy and sometimes snack on some not so healthy stuff but that’s always been a thing. I would say I am very healthy, I take vitamins, fish oils, magnesium. Do not take protein or creatine. And I am not on any meds or have any health conditions. I am having issues getting hard and staying hard, I have absolutely no idea why. It was very sudden. I can not even masturbate without losing my erection, I was with a girl (gf) a few days ago an, that was embarrassing, especially since it was my first time with her and a few months since I had sex. I tried porn to see if that would help but no it doesn't, it barely does anything. I used to be on no fap for 8 months (purely just to prove to myself that I could), before just a bump on my member sometimes would arouse me and get me hard. After I stopped with the no fap I continued normally and had no issues, cumming and staying hard was not an issue at all. Literally a month ago I would not even think of this as an issue, I am going through college applications and stuff so maybe stress? But honestly I am not stressed at all, i’ve been way more stressed about other things? Low t? Im thinking about getting a test on that, I just got with someone and im very worried that ill have these issues now, at the worst time possible. Its not even staying hard an issue but also staying aroused! I want to have sex and be able to do all of that but can not get aroused., Any help on what I could do next?

Dear Lybrate user
there can be various reasons for this issues are excessive masturbation, life style and diet intake etc. Due to this veins of penis become weaker and there is no proper blood circulation in these veins it results in less stability power so, whenever you go through intercourse you ejaculate quickly but it can be curable.

Your testosterone level is at its highest in the morning after you wake up. It is highest immediately after waking up from the rapid eye movement (rem) sleep stage. The increase in this hormone alone may be enough to cause an erection, even in the absence of any physical stimulation.
Several different conditions can cause painful erections, such as certain medicines, trauma, infection, or hormone deficiencies. But if you're suffering from painful erections, the most common cause is a conditi...more

Hello-
a man is considered impotent if he cannot achieve or maintain an erection adequate for normal sexual intercourse. Erectile dysfunction may be chronic, which occurs frequently, or accidental, as in a single, isolated incident. While one or two isolated occurrences may be discouraging, a one-time event does not qualify as full-blown e.d. The majority of men who suffer from impotence are over the age of 40, while 1 in 3 men over 60 experience impotence.

Both men and women suffer from sexual problems but they are embarrassed to even discuss it freely, leave alone visit the doctor. Proper medicines along with proper lifestyle habits can solve the problem and help in leading a healthy sexual life. Persons suffering from metabolic disorders must be treated with a different approach. Modern medicines are not effective in sexual weakness if the patient is suff...more

Hello-
this is usually caused by stress, tiredness or drinking too much alcohol, or over masturbation before marriage. It can also be a side effect of some medicines. If erectile dysfunction happens often, it may be caused by a condition such as: high blood pressure or high cholesterol.
Fortunately, it is curable.
