Hi, there are few centres where they work up refractory epilepsy cases. They basically do mri scans, video eegs and other tests to confirm the location of spread. It may be curable with a surgery life long if maximum dose of medications is not helping you.

Valprol cr is a teratogenic medicine which can have adverse effects on fetus in 6-15% of cases.
In ideal situations, you should have consulted your neurologist before planning pregnancy to start you on a safer alternative.
I hope you have been taking folic acid supplements throughout your pregnancy. It has some protective effects on teratogenicity.

Levipil is generally safe ,lamotrogine is safer though but it's advisable to continue same medicine rather than add a new one.

Both of them have the same drug.
But each ones absorption and duration of action is modified by manufacturing process of the drug.
If your doctor has prescribed it for fits control, she/he must have calculated the peak action of the drug around the time of fits. So, take accordingly for effective control of fits.
